Although this approach is more time consuming and requires many more man hours, our entire goal has always been to provide the best and completely unbiased reviews possible and we feel that the inclusion of the Initial Impressions and Final Impressions sections will give you a better view of what to expect from a new game.

What's With The I? DiRT is just as the name implies, dirty. The game revolves around pure, unfiltered off-road racing in any weather, and on any terrain.

DiRT features a variety of different tracks that are glowing with realism and an amazing, mucky look to it all.

The gameplay in DiRT is phenomenal, and the game's controls give the game a perfect feel. In addition to the controls, the environments are amazing, with dirt, mud, and slime splattering all over your All-Terrain vehicles.

In addition to the grime that the vehicles attain, DiRT also features real-time damage that deforms the vehicles as far as dinted, scratched, and jumbled up mess of metal.

DiRT also features a highly enjoyable multiplayer mode that allows you to battle with other DiRT racers online in a variety of modes.

The multiplayer is absolutely amazing, and the thrill of battling against other real-life opponents on some of the most amazing environments in a racing game.

They Make Off-Roaders? DiRT also features a variety of licensed trucks and cars that all have different stats and abilities.

All of the vehicles have a slightly different fell to them, and as you unlock some more transportation, you will always end up choosing certain vehicles over others.

Rent vs. Buy: DiRT is an amazing game, and doesn't do anything particularly wrong. The game's environments are stunning, and the outstanding graphics don't hurt the overall dirtiness of the game.

The controls are flawless, and the gameplay is extremely intense. The multiplayer is incredible, and racing against other off-roaders is done amazingly well.
